Privacy Policy
Effective Date: May 04, 2026
This Privacy Policy ("Policy") describes how EvoKomms Technologies ("Company", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, stores, processes, and protects personal data and other information in connection with your use of the AI APP TRANSLATOR platform ("Platform").
By accessing or using the Platform, you ("User", "you", or "your") acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy and agree to the collection and use of your information in accordance with its terms.
This Policy applies to all users of the Platform, including individuals, developers, and business entities, and covers data collected during account registration, platform usage, billing, and support interactions.
The Company collects and processes limited categories of personal data and related information in connection with the operation of the Platform. The types of data collected include the following:
Categories of Data Collected
- The Company collects and processes limited categories of personal data and related information in connection with the operation of the Platform. The types of data collected include the following:
- We collect basic account-related information necessary for authentication and user identification, including your email address and a unique user identifier generated through authentication services (such as Firebase UID). This information is used to create and manage your account and enable secure access to the Platform.
- In connection with payments made on the Platform, we collect and store limited billing-related identifiers, including the Paddle Customer ID associated with your transactions. All payment-related information, including payment instrument details, billing address, and tax-related information, is collected and processed directly by our third-party payment processor acting as the merchant of record, and is not stored by the Company.
- The Platform allows users to upload and process application content, including text strings, localization files, or code snippets, for translation purposes. Such content is processed by the Platform to generate localized outputs and may be stored temporarily or retained for operational purposes as described in this Policy.
- We may collect limited technical and usage-related data necessary for the functioning of the Platform, including error logs, timestamps, and system activity data. Such logs are maintained for operational monitoring and debugging purposes and are designed to avoid the inclusion of personal data wherever possible.
- Where users consent to the use of analytics cookies, we may collect anonymized or aggregated information relating to usage of the Platform, such as device type, browser information, page interactions, and approximate location data. This data is used to understand usage patterns and improve the Platform.
- The Company collects and processes limited categories of personal data and related information in connection with the operation of the Platform. The types of data collected include the following:
Purpose and Legal Basis of Processing
- The Company processes personal data only to the extent necessary to operate, maintain, and improve the Platform, and in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
- Personal data such as email address and authentication identifiers is processed to create and manage user accounts, enable secure login, and provide access to the Platform. This processing is necessary for the performance of a contract between you and the Company.
- User-submitted content and related data are processed to provide AI-powered localization services, generate translated outputs, maintain user dashboards, and enable core Platform functionality. This processing is necessary for the provision of the services requested by you.
- Limited billing-related data, such as transaction identifiers, is processed to facilitate payments, track usage, and manage billing-related activities. Payment processing itself is handled by third-party providers. This processing is necessary for contract performance and compliance with applicable financial and tax obligations.
- Technical and usage-related data, including logs and system activity, is processed to monitor performance, detect errors, prevent abuse, and ensure the security and integrity of the Platform. This processing is based on the Company's legitimate interests in maintaining a secure and reliable service.
- Where users provide consent, analytics data is processed to understand usage patterns, improve the Platform, and enhance user experience. Such processing is based on your consent, which may be withdrawn at any time through available mechanisms.
- Personal data may be processed where necessary to comply with applicable legal obligations, regulatory requirements, or lawful requests from authorities.
Data Retention
- The Company retains personal data and other information only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, including for the provision of services, compliance with legal obligations, and enforcement of contractual rights.
- Account-related data, including email address and authentication identifiers, is retained for as long as your account remains active. Such data will be deleted within a reasonable period following a valid request for account deletion, subject to any legal or operational retention requirements.
- User-submitted content, including application text strings and localization files, is retained based on the nature of usage. Where such content is uploaded but not used for a paid transaction, it is retained for a maximum period of three (3) months, after which it is automatically deleted. Where such content is associated with completed or paid transactions, it may be retained for a longer duration to enable continued access, reuse, and operational functionality, unless the user requests deletion of their account.
- Technical logs and system-generated data are retained for operational purposes and may be periodically overwritten or deleted as part of system updates and maintenance processes. The Company does not intentionally store personal data within such logs.
- Analytics data collected through third-party tools is retained in accordance with the default retention settings of such tools, which are generally limited in duration (for example, approximately two (2) months), unless otherwise configured.
- When a user requests deletion of their data, the Company will take reasonable steps to delete active data within approximately seven (7) days from the date of such request. Backup data, where applicable, is retained only for a limited duration and is typically deleted automatically within one (1) week.
Data Sharing and Third-Party Processors
- The Company engages certain third-party service providers to enable the operation, functionality, and delivery of the Platform. Personal data and limited non-personal data may be shared with such third parties strictly on a need-to-know basis and only to the extent necessary for providing the services.
- These third-party providers act either as data processors on behalf of the Company or, in certain cases, as independent data controllers, depending on the nature of the service.
- The Platform is hosted on cloud infrastructure provided by third-party service providers (such as DigitalOcean). Such providers may process account-related data, including email address, authentication identifiers, and limited application data, for the purpose of hosting, storage, and system performance. These providers act as data processors under the Company's instructions.
- User authentication is facilitated through third-party authentication providers (such as Google Firebase Authentication), which process login credentials, authentication tokens, and related metadata required to enable secure access to the Platform. These providers act as data processors.
- Payments on the Platform are processed through third-party payment service providers acting as merchant of record (such as Paddle). Such providers collect and process financial and billing information, including payment instrument details, billing address, and tax-related data, as independent data controllers. The Company does not receive or store such financial information and only retains limited transaction identifiers (such as Paddle Customer ID) for billing and account management purposes.
- The Platform utilizes third-party artificial intelligence services to process user-submitted content and generate translations. Such providers may receive application text strings or code snippets strictly for the purpose of processing translation requests. These providers act as data processors and process such data in accordance with their applicable terms and policies.
- Where users consent, the Platform uses analytics tools (such as Google Analytics and similar services) to collect anonymized or aggregated usage data. Such providers process information such as device details, browser type, usage behavior, and cookie identifiers. Additionally, the Company may use self-hosted analytics tools configured to operate in privacy-preserving modes without collecting personally identifiable information.
Data Storage and Cross-Border Transfer
- The Company stores and processes personal data and related information on cloud infrastructure located in India, including data centres situated in Bangalore.
- In the course of providing the Platform's services, certain data, particularly user-submitted content processed for translation, may be transmitted to and processed by third-party service providers located outside India. This may occur where such processing is necessary for the functioning of artificial intelligence services or other integrated features of the Platform.
- By using the Platform, you acknowledge and consent to such cross-border transfers of data, where required for the provision of services.
- The Company takes reasonable steps to ensure that any such transfers are carried out in a manner consistent with applicable data protection laws and that appropriate safeguards are implemented by the relevant third-party service providers.
Data Security Measures
- The Company implements reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data and other information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration, taking into account the nature of the data processed and the risks involved.
- Data transmitted between the Platform, its backend systems, and third-party service providers is secured using industry-standard encryption protocols. Additionally, data stored on cloud infrastructure is protected through encryption-at-rest mechanisms provided by the hosting provider.
- Access to personal data and user-related information is restricted to authorized personnel strictly on a need-to-know basis. Currently, access to user-submitted content is limited to designated technical personnel and may be exercised only in exceptional circumstances, such as for resolving technical issues affecting users.
- The Company does not intentionally log or store personal data within system logs and takes steps to minimize the inclusion of sensitive information in operational monitoring systems.
- While the Company takes reasonable measures to protect data, no system can be completely secure, and the Company does not guarantee absolute security of information transmitted or stored through the Platform.
User Rights
- Subject to applicable law, you may have certain rights in relation to your personal data processed by the Company. These rights may include the ability to access, update, or delete your personal data, as well as the right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
- You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time through available functionality on the Platform or by contacting the Company. Upon receiving a valid request, the Company will take reasonable steps to delete your data within a reasonable timeframe, subject to any legal or operational retention requirements.
- Where data processing is based on your consent, including for analytics or tracking technologies, you may withdraw such consent at any time through available mechanisms, such as adjusting your browser settings or cookie preferences. Withdrawal of consent shall not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to such withdrawal.
- You are responsible for ensuring that the personal data you provide is accurate and up to date. The Company shall not be responsible for any issues arising from inaccurate or outdated information provided by you.
- The Company may require verification of your identity before processing certain requests relating to your personal data.
Cookies and Tracking Technologies
- The Platform uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to enhance user experience, analyze usage, and improve the functionality of the Platform.

The Platform primarily uses cookies for analytics purposes, including tools such as Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, which collect information such as browser type, device information, page interactions, and anonymized usage data.
- The use of analytics cookies is subject to your consent. Where required by applicable law, the Platform provides a mechanism for you to accept, reject, or manage your cookie preferences. You may also withdraw your consent at any time by modifying your browser settings or clearing stored cookies.
- In addition to third-party analytics tools, the Company may use self-hosted analytics solutions configured to operate in a privacy-preserving manner, without the use of cookies or collection of personally identifiable information.
- Disabling certain cookies may affect the functionality or performance of the Platform.
Children's Data and Privacy

- Parents or legal guardians who believe that a minor has provided personal data without their consent may contact the Company to request deletion of such data.
Changes to Privacy Policy
- The Company reserves the right to update, modify, or revise this Privacy Policy at any time, at its sole discretion. Any changes shall be effective upon being posted on the Platform or otherwise communicated to users through appropriate means.
- Where changes materially affect how your personal data is processed, the Company may provide additional notice, such as through email or in-platform notifications.
